Retail

Local Retailer: Getting Found on Google

A local retailer improved its Google visibility and local search presence with SEO, local SEO and structured data.

The Challenge

A local retailer had a basic website but was nearly invisible on Google. They didn't appear for the searches their customers actually made, their Google Business Profile was incomplete, and there was no structured data to help search engines understand the business.

The owner had never used Google Search Console and had no idea which queries — if any — brought visitors to the site.

How HNR Helped

HNR built an SEO and local search foundation:

  • Optimized site structure, metadata and internal linking
  • Completed and aligned the Google Business Profile
  • Implemented structured data (LocalBusiness, Service, BreadcrumbList)
  • Set up and reviewed Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
  • Added clear, question-based content for the services customers search for

The work targeted one goal: help the right local customers find the business.

The Results

Improved visibility in local search
A complete, accurate Google Business Profile
Clean structured data across the site
Clear visibility into which searches bring visitors
